ADVANCE, Mo. -- Jean Ann Nanna, 73, of Advance passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

She was born Aug. 8, 1935, at Leemon, Mo., daughter of Robert Lee and Irene Rehkopf Dunn. She and Earl Ladon Nanna were married Jan. 8, 1954, at Red Star Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Sept. 26, 2006.

Jean was a member of First Baptist Church in Advance. She worked many years at Inland Shoe Factory in Advance and had also worked at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau as a nurse's aide.

Survivors include a son, Charles Kenneth Nanna of Whitefish, Mont.; a sister, Rosetta Pettit of Perkins, Mo.; and three grandchildren, Ricky Nanna of Dallas, Lindsay Nanna of Chesapeake, Va., and Josh Nanna of Whitefish.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Dunn.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to service time today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

The funeral will be at 1:45 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
