Jean Newton Kaiser, 87, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at Lifecare Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 11, 1933, in Vanduser, Missouri, to John Oscar and Bertha Lee Johnson Newton.
In 1952, she married Elvis Lee Kaiser, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Elvis Leon Kaiser of Clarksville, Tennessee, and a daughter, Linda Kay Kaiser of Cape Girardeau. Other survivors include two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ray Christie of Walnut Creek, California, and Jim Christie of The Villages, Florida.
Five brothers, four sisters and one stepson preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Anderson of Lynwood Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Sikeston (Missouri) Memorial Park Cemetery.
