CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jean Alyce Jurgovan, 84 of Chaffee died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at her home.
She was born April 21, 1934, in St. Louis to Elmer Joseph and Clara Ethel Wherfritz Rowley Sr.
She is survived by a son, Michael Martin Sr. of Chaffee; two daughters, Carol (John) Stroder of Chaffee and Carla (Dale) Shaler of Grand Blanc, Michigan; a brother, Frankie (Mary) Rowley of Chicago; eight grandchildren, Tonya (Sam) Glency, Rebecca White, Rachel Culp, Melissa Culp, Michael Martin Jr., Jennifer (Daren) Halter, Wendy (Alex) Alvarado and Jasson (Amy) Berry; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Elmer "JuJu" Rowley Jr.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Chaffee General Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
