SCOTT CITY -- Anna Jean Brawley, 61, of Scott City, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 1994, at her home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Roy H. and Eula Kesterson Niswonger. She and Charles E. Brawley were married Sept. 22, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He died July 21, 1991.
Brawley was employed 24 years at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau, retiring as an inspector in 1983. She was a member of New Life World Outreach Center in Cape Girardeau, and Sunny Village Garden Club in Scott City.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Brawley of Cape Girardeau, Mike and Richard Brawley of Scott City; two daughters, Vicki Brant and Karen LeDure of Scott City; her mother of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, James Niswonger of Cape Girardeau, Ivan Niswonger of Cripple Creek, Colo.; two sisters, Doris Rankin of Salem, Ore., Donna Petzoldt of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jack Cathcart and Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
