MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for J.D. Estes of Marble Hill will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Donald R. Cook will officiate, with burial in Plainview Cemetery near here.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to service time.

Estes, 63, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 2, 1930, near Marble Hill, son of Lee and Maudie Mae Cook Estes. He and Bonnie G. Hamilton were married Oct. 4, 1980.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeffrey Estes of Panama, Steve Estes of Marble Hill; a daughter, Kathleen Green of Silva; four stepsons, Steven Seabaugh of St. Charles, Rick and Tim Seabaugh of Sedgewickville, Pat Seabaugh of Patton; a stepdaughter, Sherri Kersting of St. Charles; three brothers, Lee and Don Estes of Fenton, and Shelby Estes of Marble Hill.

Other survivors include three sisters, L.B. Long, Helen Miller and Louella Lanigan of Marble Hill; a half brother, Chandler Estes of Washington, D.C.; two half sisters, Beulah Barton of Boss, Mazie Bryant of Chaffee; 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, brother, three sisters, three half brothers and a half sister.
