J.B. Brotherton, 74, of Fredericktown, died Wednesday, March 3, 1993, at Madison Memorial Hospital there. He was born Aug. 5, 1918, at Sedgewickville, son of John and Nola Reagan Brotherton. He and Lena Hahn were married in 1940 at Patton. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jerry Brotherton of Cape Girardeau, Wayne and Donald Brotherton of Fredericktown; three brothers, Kelly Brotherton of Patton, Lee and Gus Brotherton of Jackson; two sisters, Gertrude Pulliam and Veda Skinner of Jackson; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.. ...

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hansmann Funeral Chapel in Fredericktown. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery at Patton.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
