Jason Lynn Hutson, 45, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, in Dania Beach, Florida.
He was born Oct. 3, 1974, in Cape Girardeau to Glenn Jefferson and Anne Louise Baumann Hutson.
He was baptized in 1987 at First Baptist Church and was a 1992 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
He was a longtime employee of Hutson Furniture.
He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, camping in Colorado mountains, music festivals and traveling with friends and family. He loved bike riding and even bicycled across the country in 1999.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Anne Hutson of Cape Girardeau; grandmother, Ruth Baumann of Denver; sister, Robin (Jim) Blatt of St. Louis; nephew, Will Blatt of St. Louis; two aunts, Linda Hutson of Cape Girardeau and Susan (James) Peelle of California; cousin, Wesley Peelle of Orlando, Florida; and two uncles, Stephen Baumann of Boston and Christopher Baumann of Denver.
There will be no visitation.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday at New Lorimier Cemetery, 832 Caruthers Ave. in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of Southeast Missouri or Safe House for Women.
