Jason Casper

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Jason Shawn Casper, 37, of Villa Ridge passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at his home.

He was born Dec. 11, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, son of Albert L. and Cheryl Garrett Casper Sr.

Jason was a welder.

Survivors include his wife, Shasta Lowe Casper of Villa Ridge; a daughter, Arynn Casper of the home; parents Albert and Cheryl Casper of Mounds, Illinois; father-in-law Jerry Lowe of Mound City, Illinois; mother-in-law Brenda Lowe of Mound City; two brothers, Albert Lynn Casper Jr. and wife Misty and sons Issac and Gabriel Casper of Villa Ridge, and Ryan Eugene Casper and wife Jane Casper of Alameda, California; two sisters, Mary Casper and son Bryan Casper, and Bonnie Casper and son Sam Casper, all of Columbia, Missouri; paternal grandmother Patsy Casper of Mounds; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. Family members and friends will officiate. Private disposition will be at a later date.
