JACKSON -- Funeral service for Janice E. Kuehnert of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Paul Short will officiate, with burial in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery at Altenburg.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.
Kuehnert, 59, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 28, 1938, in Hensonville, N.Y., daughter of Jack and Eleanor Vining Best. She and Norbert Kuehnert were married May 5, 1956, in Hensonville.
Kuehnert was a member of St. Andrew Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Rebecca Gast of Jackson, Elizabeth Lowry of Hailey, Idaho; a stepdaughter, Gena Peterson of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Diane Cargle of Dexter; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and her father.
