SCOTT CITY -- Janice June King, 59, of Scott City died Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 30, 1938, at Gray's Summit, daughter of H.B. and Rhoda Huff Lewis. She married Carl King on July 10, 1953, at Richwoods.

King was employed by Blair Industries in Scott City and was a member of Teamsters Local 574 Retirees Club.

She is survived by her husband; her mother of St. Clair; two sons, Gary King of Scott City and Dennis King of Union; a daughter, Missy King of Scott City; a brother, Burton Lewis of Gerald; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City today beginning at 4 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
