Janette Grasso

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Janette Sue Grasso, 74, of Marble Hill died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Woodland Hills in Marble Hill.

She was born Nov. 11, 1939, in Illmo, to Leroy and Irene Dodson Foulk. She and Gerald Russell Grasso were married April 21, 1959.

He preceded her in death Aug. 30, 2009.

Janette was a member of Mount Auburn Christian Church.

She is survived by a son, Russell (Lisa) Grasso of Jackson; a daughter, Lorinda (Rod) Harris of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Dorothy Sanders of Marble Hill; and two grandchildren, Nichole (Travis) Ward and Nathan Harris of Granite City.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Grasso; a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
