BELL CITY, Mo. -- Janet Sue Cossou Nesler, 82, of Bell City passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Missouri.
She was born May 4, 1939, in Bell City, the daughter of Charles and Maude Overbey Cossou. Janet and Bobby Dale Nesler were united in marriage on Dec. 31, 1976 at Bell City, and he preceded her in death Oct. 27, 2011.
Janet worked in clerical at Lucent Technology for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. She attended the Bell City A-Frame Church.
Survivors include two stepsons, Tim (Robbin) Nesler of Advance and Todd (Angie) Nesler of Daphne, Alabama; a stepdaughter, Kim (Mike) Lewandoski of Jackson; a brother, Mike (Connie) Cossou of Kelso, Missouri; and two stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Jerry Cossou, and a sister, Jane Bollinger.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Ted Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
