PERRYVILLE, Mo. � Janet F. King, 76, of Perryville died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at Saint Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 29, 1942, in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, daughter of Warren �Cotton� and Noreen Jokerst Boyer and stepmother Elizabeth Boyer. She and Henry Clay King Sr. were married Feb. 4, 1963. He preceded her in death Sept. 15, 2003.
Janet was a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. She enjoyed collecting M&M memorabilia and tea sets. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grand kids.
Survivors include one son and two daughters, Henry C. King Jr., Deana �Dee� Ernst (Russell Svoboda) and Melissa (Daniel) Fortner, all of Perryville; two sisters and one brother, Joyce Phillips of Fredericktown, Missouri, Judy (Charlie) Linn of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Warren Lee Boyer of Edmond, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brian) Bolding, Kyla (Chad) Stelling, David (Angela) Hudson, Chris Ernst (Alex Reed), Heather Hudson (Ryan Moll), Michael R. King, Danielle (Brandon) Agne, Elizabeth Fortner and Levi Fortner; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother; husband; two brothers, Eddie and Rick Duvall; and one sister, Pat Blessing.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
