ANNA, Ill. -- Janet Brown, 73, of Anna, died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born March 26, 1921, in Union County, daughter of Issac and Allie Whitley Knight. She and Collin W. Brown were married Sept. 24, 1938, at Jackson, Mo.
Brown was retired from Choate Mental Health Center. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary in Anna, and First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sue Fuller of Indianapolis; a brother, Basil Knight of Anna; two sisters, Dorothy Albright of Ogden, Utah, Wanda Allsup of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and six brothers.
Friends may call at Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Staley Langham and Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery near Anna.
