CAIRO, Ill. -- Jane C. Williams, 73, of Cairo died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at the home of a daughter in Tamms, Ill.

She was born July 27, 1933, in Anna, Ill., daughter of Wallace and Adele McManus Gore.

Williams was a dispatcher with Cairo Police Department many years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Altar Guild.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen "Cricket" Wiesenmayer of Cairo, Julie Fitzgerald of Tamms; a brother, James Gore of Atlanta, Ga.; and two granddaughters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. The rosary will be recited at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church, with Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge, Ill.
