SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Jane Ellen Nix, 60, of Sedgewickville died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 4, 1938, at Commerce, daughter of Edwin and Anna Hale Held. She and Jerry Nix were married March 4, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.
Nix was a member of Jackson Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Nix of Sedgewickville; a daughter, Tammy Nix of Sedgewickville; her mother, Anna Pyle of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Roger Held of McClure, Ill.
Also surviving are eight sisters, Mary Rogers, Debbie Stevens, Ruth Boes and Cathy Medford, all of Cape Girardeau, Donna Froggatt of Scott City, Sue Dinwiddie of Big Sandy, Tenn., Phyllis Miller of Chaffee, Linda Matlock of McClure; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Harold Althen officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sedgewickville.
