ST. LOUIS -- James Joseph Williams, 76, of St. Louis, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, in St. Louis. He was formerly of Chaffee, Mo.

Beloved husband 56 years of Carolyn Pearce Williams; dear father of Kimberly Williams, Pamela (Joe) Goldfeld, Tamara (Gary) Reding and James J. Williams Jr.; dear grandfather of James "Buddy" III, Michael and Jeremy Williams, Daniel and David Goldfeld and Pearce and Adrienne Reding; dear brother-in-law of Shirley Nesser; brother of the late Jerome Williams and Judith Crampton; dear uncle of Karen (Stan) Buraszeski, Geralyn Nesser, Raymond (Donna) Nesser, Charles Nesser and Elizabeth Ann (Alan) Mehringer; dear great-uncle and friend to many.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Richard Catholic Church, 11223 Schuetz Road in St. Louis.
