James Skaggs

GLEN ALLEN, Mo. -- James "Jimmy" Robert Skaggs, 37, of Glen Allen passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at his home in Glen Allen.

Jimmy was born May 17, 1985, in Cape Girardeau to the late Tilbert and Jeannie Kirkpatrick Skaggs.

James, aunt Susan and cousin Destinee all passed away due to a devastating tornado.

Jimmy was very supportive to all his family any time they needed him. He loved to take pictures, have fun and be the life of the party. He was the class clown when he was in high school. Two of his favorite things were the "Golden Girls" and "SpongeBob SquarePants".

Survivors include a brother, Michael Skaggs of Doniphan, Missouri, and all his friends and family.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service for Destinee and memorial service for Susan and James will be held Monday, April 10 at Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Due to limited seating for this service, it is encouraged that everyone attends the services in a timely manner.

It is requested that donations be made to Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill to help with the sudden passing of Destinee, Susan and James.
