BLOOMFIELD -- Graveside service for James Robert Ringham of Bloomfield will be held at 11 a.m. today at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff. The Rev. Ralph Kirkman will officiate.
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ringham, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1917, at Bloomfield, son of Orson and Noah Harold Ringham. He and Margaret Parks were married in September 1935. She died in May 1956. He later married Juanita Hogan in January 1962. She died in May 1962.
Ringham was a self-employed floor finisher. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three daughters, Mitzy Cook and Bobbie Simpson of Poplar Bluff, Anita Hoskins of Edwardsville, Ill.; a sister, Nina Landuyt of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
