CAIRO, Ill. -- James Ray Cella, 68, of Wickliffe, Ky., died Thursday, May 5, 1994, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
He was born June 30, 1925, in Cairo, son of Ray L. and Lura Barnett Cella. He married the former Laura Rabey.
Cella was a retired plumber. He was a member, deacon and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Wickliffe, and Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 160 in Murphysboro.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Dianne Jackson of West Paducah, Libbye Summers of Wickliffe; a son, Tony Cella of Tifton, Ga.; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Morris officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.
