CHAFFEE, Mo. -- James Edward Mosley, 59, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 18, 1954, in Dekoven, Ky., to the late James C. and Lucy Mae Padgett Mosley. He and Deborah Diane Carter were married March 15, 1975, in Cape Girardeau.
Before becoming disabled, he worked at M.E. Leming Lumber Co. in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah of the home; five sons, Daniel P. (Missy) Carter of Cape Girardeau, James R. Mosley of Chaffee, Joseph C. (Angela) Mosley of Gordonville, Jason W. (Alison) Mosley and Joshua (Amber) Mosley of Chaffee; a daughter, Jennifer K. (Robert) Henderson of Steelville, Mo.; two brothers, David (Regina) Mosley of Sturgis, Ky., and Eddie (Mae) Mosley of Evansville, Ind.; three sisters, Barbara (David) Harkey of Saucier, Miss., Carlene (Dennis) Barnaby and Tammy Hunter of Morganfield, Ky.; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Mosley; and a sister, Dottie Mosley.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Doug Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
