James Edward Moore, 62, of East Prairie, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at his home.
He was born July 10, 1941, at Wolf Island, Mo., son of James William and Maggie Lee Marshall Moore. He and Katherine Sue Brown were married Feb. 7, 1975, in East Prairie.
Moore was employed by Noranda Aluminum. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Stephen Edward; two daughters, Terri Denese Archie of East Prairie and Julie Annette Becker of Fenton, Mo.; two brothers, Samuel Austin Moore and Robert Winston Moore, both of East Prairie; a sister, Shirley Jean McClendon of East Prairie, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home, East Prairie.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Shelby Chapel, with the Dennis Lowe officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
