SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Arland "Kojak" Milam, 71, of Morley, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 7, 1933, in Benton, Mo., son of U.R. and Anna B. Mainard Milam.

He married Sarah O'Neal on May 22, 1965, in Morley.

He had been a hand laster for Florsheim Shoe Factory. He was a lifelong resident of Morley and member of Sikeston Eagles Aerie 3319.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Milam of Morley; and a brother, Calvin Milam of Springfield, Mo.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Home in Sikeston.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ira Sandefer officiating.

Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery.
