James Marion Martin, 62, 504 Terry Lane, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, in Detroit, Mich. He was born Nov. 25, 1933, in Harrogate, Tenn., son of Doyle and Lola Woodard Martin. James Marion Martin, 62, 504 Terry Lane, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, in Detroit, Mich.

He was born Nov. 25, 1933, in Harrogate, Tenn., son of Doyle and Lola Woodard Martin. He and Ruth Niswonger were married Nov. 15, 1989, in Wickliffe, Ky.

Martin was a driver for Jim Charles Trucking in McClure, Ill., 10 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dwayne Hill Jr. and John Hill of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Troy Martin of Tazewell, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 5-9 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Niswonger Cemetery near Millersville.
