JAMES LYONS

JACKSON -- Memorial service for James F. Lyons of Cleveland, Ohio, will be held at 7 p.m. June 12 at New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Lyons, 47, died Monday, June 3, 1996, in Cleveland.

He was born Jan. 28, 1949, in Cleveland, son of James and Hazel Francis Lyons.

Lyons was a 1973 graduate of Ohio State University. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974-77 and then served in the Army Reserves until March 1984.

Lyons was employed at Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau, and was a manager from January 1977 to June 1994. He was a member of Jackson Optimist Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Dawn, Kristine and Lauren Lyons of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
