James Craig Logan, 50, of Manchester, Tenn., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. James Craig Logan, 50, of Manchester, Tenn., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky.

He was born Nov. 28, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, son of James Walter and Rosemary Craig Logan. He married Vicky Seabaugh May 30, 1981, in Cape Girardeau.

Craig was employed by Aerospace Test Alliance at the Arnold Engineering Test Facility in Tullahoma, Tenn. He was the Thermal Vacuums T&E project manager. He has been considered a cryogenics expert at the Arnold Engineering Test Facility.

He graduated from Central High School in Cape Girardeau in 1974, and the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1981. Craig obtained a master's in engineering management in the late 1980s from the University of Tennessee Space Institute.

He was an avid radio control airplane flyer and was an award-winning photographer, animal lover and gourmet cook. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Manchester.

He is survived by his wife Vicky of Manchester; his parents of Cape Girardeau; and three cats, Whiskers, Peppers and Moose.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Albert Willis officiating.
