GRAND TOWER, Ill. -- James "Jimmy" Randall Levan, 43, of Grand Tower died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at his home.
He was born July 7, 1961, in Murphysboro, Ill., son of William P. and Lillian Dietz Levan.
He had been a farmer for most of his life and had worked as a manager of video stores. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church in Wolf Lake, Ill.
He and Tracey Brown were married Aug. 5, 1990.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mickey Levan of Carbondale, Ill.; two stepchildren, Ashley Brown and Cale Garcia, both of Grand Tower; his mother of Wolf Lake; a brother, Roger Levan of Grand Tower; and three sisters, Joyce Ann Elbrecht of Greenville, Pa., Pat Simpkins of Murphysboro, Ill., and Linda Kay Biondo of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Monday at Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
