James Lanigan

James David Lanigan, 81, of Jackson passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 22, 1939, in St. Louis, son of Albert and Harriet Sieber Lanigan. James David Lanigan and Louella Estes were married on June 25, 1960, and she passed away Dec. 10, 2010.

James was a member of the Teamsters and worked as a local truck driver in the city of St. Louis for AJF.

Survivors include his sons, David Allen Lanigan of Marble Hill, Missouri, and James Bradley and Michael Timothy Lanigan, both of Jackson; daughter, Leslie Ann Keith of Fenton, Missouri; brother, Richard Lanigan of Fenton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Louella Lanigan; parents; and sister, Susan Grieb.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Randy Shrum officiating.
