ZALMA -- James "Delmar" Lacy, 75, of Zalma, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 1994, at his home.

He was born May 25, 1918, at Gipsy, son of Randolph and Eva Scott Lacy. He and Marie Myers were married Aug. 1, 1942, at Arab.

Lacy was a retired farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Hershel Lacy of Advance; two daughters, Betty Stepp of Sikeston, Peggy Roper of Dexter; a brother, Winford Lacy of Florissant; a sister, Marie Nollsch of Cottonwood, Ariz.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Otis Littles will officiate, with burial in Berrong Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today.
