SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Edward Kneezle, 72, of Sikeston died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Bell City, Mo., son of Josh and Bertha Mayberry Kneezle. He and Shelby Dockins were married April. 16, 1960, in Bell City.
He was a crew leader for 41 years for the Missouri highway department.
Survivors include his wife; by a son, Mark Kneezle of Sikeston; a stepson, Mike Mitchell of Sikeston; six sisters, Mary Hawkins of Demopolis, Ala., Fern Long of Cape Girardeau, Inis Stamper of Bell City, Nonia Woods, of Chaffee, Mo., Alma Genie Kneezle of Dexter, Mo., and Barbara Lewis of Puxico, Mo.; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dolan Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
