James Edward Householder, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Oct. 25, 1939, in Marston, Mo., son of Oather Edward and Christine Rettig Householder. Mr. Householder was a computer technician for the U.S. Government...

James Edward Householder, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Oct. 25, 1939, in Marston, Mo., son of Oather Edward and Christine Rettig Householder.

Mr. Householder was a computer technician for the U.S. Government.

He was a retired sergeant with the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Eddie Jones of New Madrid, Mo.; a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Flora Householder of Bay Point, Calif.; two sisters, Doris Hendricks of Cape Girardeau, Marie Hunter of New Madrid; a brother, Jerry Householder of Benton, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Howard Householder, and a grandson, Kyle Jones.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

No funeral is scheduled.
