ORAN, Mo. -- James Don Graviett, 47, of Oran died Friday, June 30, 2006, in Cape Girardeau, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident May 26, 2006.
He was born May 4, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roy Edward and Stella "Suggie" Stubenrauch Graviett.
Graviett was a self-employed farmer, and machine operator at Good Humor-Breyers in Sikeston, Mo. He was a former member of Oran Jaycees, member of J.C. Hunting Club in Oran, and a member of Harley-Davidson Owners Group in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Johnathan Graviett of Chaffee, Mo., Chris Graviett of Oran; a daughter, Vicki Johnson of Sikeston, Mo.; his father of Oran; two brothers, Edward Graviett of Benton, Mo., Dickie J. Graviett of Oran; three sisters, Patricia Wilcox of Clarksville, Tenn., Connie Purvis of Purvis, Miss., Sherri Beeson of East Prairie, Mo.; four grandchildren, Skylar Copeland, Dawson Copeland, Wyatt Copeland and Levi Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Schrum officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Mo.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Wagoner, Kurt Prindle, Dale Williams, Larry Holt, David Westmorlan and Phil Shimon.
