James E. Graham, 68, of Pekin, Ill., died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Oct. 6, 1930, in St. Louis, son of William and Agnes Stallings Graham. Graham was a division manager with Caterpillar Tractor Co. at the Mossville, Ill., plant, retiring in 1987. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War...

James E. Graham, 68, of Pekin, Ill., died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 6, 1930, in St. Louis, son of William and Agnes Stallings Graham.

Graham was a division manager with Caterpillar Tractor Co. at the Mossville, Ill., plant, retiring in 1987. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Graham of Jefferson County, Jason and Doug Graham of Pekin; five daughters, Lola Adcox of Granite City, Ill., Pam Morris, Kim Messer, Christina Graham and Eva Arnold of Pekin.

Also surviving are three sisters, Helen Whittaker of Manito, Ill., Edna Carrol of Creve Coeur, Ill., Pauline Kinder of Granite City; a brother, Alfred Graham of West Peoria, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and four brothers.

Friends may call at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin from 5-7 p.m. today. The funeral will be at 7.

Friends may also call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 10-11 a.m. Friday. The funeral will be at 11, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
