JAMES GADBURY SR.

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for James Robert Gadbury Sr. of Herculaneum, Mo., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Robert Burnes will officiate. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews, Mo.

Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until service time.

Gadbury, 61, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1939, in St. Louis, son of James Francis and Gladys Irene Pyatt Gadbury.

Gadbury was an auto mechanic.

Survivors include a son, James Gadbury of Sikeston; three daughters, Joann Poley of Clarkton, Mo., Katherine Hess of Potosi, Mo., Theresa Hicks of Herculaneum; a brother, Elbert Gadbury of Brighton, Ill.; a sister, Elaine Crone of Brighton; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.
