CHARLESTON -- James Earl McKenzie, 62, of Charleston, died Tuesday, April 23, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 23, 1929, in Hickman, Ky., son of George Warren and Hallie Fish McKenzie. He was an auto mechanic, retiring in 1973. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include five sons, Larry McKenzie of Virginia Beach, Va., Ronald and Bobby McKenzie of Charleston, Michael and Tommy McKenzie of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Tom McKenzie of Charleston; a half brother, William McClanahan of New Orleans, La.; 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Gerald Penn will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
