James "Jim" E. Knudtson of Leesburg, Fla., died Friday, July 24, 1998, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 33. He was the brother of Jay Knudtson of Cape Girardeau. James "Jim" E. Knudtson of Leesburg, Fla., died Friday, July 24, 1998, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 33.

He was the brother of Jay Knudtson of Cape Girardeau.

He was born in Rochester, Minn. His parents are Rebecca Ann Higgins of Aitkin, Minn., and Robert Knudtson of Roch, Minn. They also survive.

He was graduated from Mayo High School in Rochester in 1983. He was employed by a building company and a trucking company in Minnesota before being transferred in 1997 to Leesburg to become operations manager.

He played hockey and baseball for Mayo High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester.
