JAMES E. DUNN

ADVANCE - Funeral service for James E. Dunn will be held today at 3 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Dunn, 94, of Advance, Route 1, died Friday, May 22, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Feb. 19, 1898 in Perry County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Proctor Dunn.

He was a distributor for the Standard Oil Co. and a contractor. Dunn was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 590, AF&AM of Advance, and a past master. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Advance.

Dunn married Grace Bollinger on Jan. 17, 1923 in Advance. She died May 11, 1990.

His survivors include a son, Harold Dunn of Chaffee; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons. Preceding him in death were a son, a grandson, three brothers, and three sisters.

Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Virgil Bunch, pastor of United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
