ADVANCE, Mo. -- James "Dobbie" Duncan, 46, of Advance died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at his home.

He was born April 28, 1959, at Bloomfield, Mo., son of Paul and Bernice Morlan Duncan. He and Dorothy Hill were married Feb. 18, 1989, at Bloomfield.

Duncan was a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Ronnie Duncan of Brownwood, Mo., Tony Duncan of Sikeston, Mo., Eddie Duncan of Kennett, Mo.; two sisters, Shirley Brigman and Connie Housman of Dexter, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bell City, Mo.
