James H. "Jim" Daniels, 73, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008.
He was born June 29, 1934, in Painton, Mo., son of Edward and Pearl Annis Daniels. He and Glenita Koeppel were married April 24, 1955.
Daniels served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Roswell, N.M.
He was a foreman at Cape Wilbert Vault Co., and later worked at Beaumont Vault Co. in Beaumont, Texas. He moved to Arizona in 1986 and retired in 2005.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Daniels, Clark (Vicki) Daniels of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Marla Sanford, Cindy (Bob) King and Martha (Danny) McLain; a brother, Charles (Mary) Daniels; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a grandson, Ben Sanford.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Doyle Randol and Ronnie Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
