James Donald Brown, 40, of Millersville passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born April 3, 1979, in Cape Girardeau, son of Randy D. and Angela Craft Brown.
James attended Jackson public schools. He worked as a forklift driver for Gilster-Mary Lee in Perryville, Missouri. James attended Connection Point Church in Jackson. He enjoyed watching his nephew, Isaiah, wrestle. He was an avid fan of football and loved to fish.
Loving survivors include his mother, Angela Craft of Cape Girardeau, maternal grandmother, Carol Craft, and brother, Jeremiah (Amber) Brown, all of Jackson; half brother, Chris Morton of Cape Girardeau; niece and nephew, Myah and Isaiah Brown; girlfriend, Jennifer Burton; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Brown; paternal grandparents, Don and Wanda Schweer Brown; maternal grandfather, James E. Craft; and maternal great-grandparents, Claude and Arvella Estes.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral will at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Mann officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the family to help with funeral expenses.
