SIKESTON, Mo. -- James L. Bell, 93, of Sikeston, formerly of Chaffee, Missouri, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was a sergeant in the United States Army and served in World War II.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jason Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Missouri, with full military honors presented by Missouri Honor Guard.
