CHARLESTON -- James Lee Allen, 59, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 1997, at Charleston Manor.
He was born May 17, 1938, in Muscogee, Ga., son of Ollie and Dorothy Drennan Allen. He and Suzanne Maquire were married in 1972.
Allen was an electronic engineer in Oceanside, Calif., until he retired because of ill health.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Justin Allen of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ben and John Allen of Oceanside; two daughters, Lisa Frick of Cincinnati, Natasha Allen of San Francisco, Calif.; his mother of Charleston; a sister, Nancy Hey of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held later.
McMikle Funeral Home at Charleston was in charge of local arrangements.
