PUXICO, Mo. -- Jacquelyn Russell, 56, of Puxico died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at Three Rivers Health Care North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born Aug. 3, 1944, in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., daughter of Noel and Doris DeCou Bates. She and Bob Russell were married March 27, 1971, in St. Louis.
Formerly of Ste. Genevieve, she lived in St. Louis many years before moving to rural Puxico in 1990.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Steven Russell of Horn Lake, Miss., Mitchell and Jeff Russell of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Justine Russell of Valley Park, Mo.; four brothers, Bill Bates of St. Louis County, Dan and Jim Bates of Bloomsdale, Mo., Terry Bates of Ste. Genevieve; two sisters, June Hill and Barb Fleeman of Bloomsdale; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald King officiating. Burial will be in Elliott Cemetery near Acorn Ridge, Mo.
