Jacqueline Elaine Roberts, 82, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at her home.
She was born Oct. 27, 1937, in St. Louis to Troy J. and Myrtle V. Wade Hobeck. She and Alfred Louis Roberts were married Nov. 30, 1999, in Jackson.
Jacqueline was an active member of Fountain of Life Tabernacle. She was an EKG technician at Southeast Hospital for 32 years. She loved her family, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Loving survivors include her husband, Alfred Roberts of Cape Girardeau; children, Tonia (David) Vaughn of Olive Branch, Illinois, Brian Moore of Benton, Missouri, and Gay (Rick) Wilson of Jackson; stepchildren, Jeannie (Cale) Rhoades, Terry (Bill) Stroud and Buddy (Karin) Roberts; brother, Carl (Pat) Hobeck; sister, Deloris (John) Norman; grandchildren, Chad Dunn, Garrett Anderson, Cary Anderson, Jinny Malik, Cameron Moore and Melisa Barker; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Henry J. Moore; sons, Jeff and Bradley; brothers, Jake, John and Larry; and sisters, Louis, Joann and Anna Dean.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronald Marler officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Daisy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Fountain of Life Tabernacle's Women's Ministry.
