SIKESTON -- Jacob Ramsey Yant, 5, of Swann Special Care Center in Champaign, Ill., died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

He was born May 3, 1991, in Cape Girardeau, son of Randy John and Sheila James Yant. The family was formerly of Sikeston.

Survivors include his father of Bloomfield; his mother of O'Fallon, Ill.; a twin brother, Jonathen Yant of Swann Center; a sister, Jessica Yant of O'Fallon; maternal grandparents, Sonny and Sharon James of Sikeston; and paternal grandmother, Mary Yant of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Hamlett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
