Jacob E. Cook, 34, of St. Louis passed away Monday, January 20, 2014, in St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 23, 1979, in Cape Girardeau, to Joe Cook and Kim Wilson Stewart.
Jacob was a proud parent and devoted family man. He attended Calvary Church of St. Peters, Mo., and is remembered as a strong, kindhearted, loving man and father. Jacob was a proficient HVAC technician for 10 years and worked throughout the St. Louis area.
He had a great passion for the arts and was a talented musician. Jacob loved nature and being outdoors, especially fishing with his children. Playing video games with his son was also something Jacob enjoyed very much. Jacob's laughter has touched the lives of many. He will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Kim Stewart and Joe Cook of Cape Girardeau; son, Phoenix Skye Simpson-Cook; daughter, Leiawyn Iris Cook; siblings, Johnny Stewart and Zachary Cook of Cape Girardeau, A.J. Scherer of Marion, Ill., and Erica Wilson-White of St. Louis; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Private services have already been held.
Arrangements were handled by Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
