PARMA, Mo. -- Jackie Paul Parker, 49, of Parma, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000. He was born April 11, 1951, at Malden, Mo., son of A.B. and Georgia Mae Elrod Parker. He and Carolyn Edmonds were married Aug. 9, 1997, at Bernie, Mo. He had been a resident of Parma all his life and was affiliated with the Baptist church...

PARMA, Mo. -- Jackie Paul Parker, 49, of Parma, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000.

He was born April 11, 1951, at Malden, Mo., son of A.B. and Georgia Mae Elrod Parker. He and Carolyn Edmonds were married Aug. 9, 1997, at Bernie, Mo.

He had been a resident of Parma all his life and was affiliated with the Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; a stepson, Bobby Kean of Parma; a stepdaughter, Angel Vandeveer of Parma; and a sister, Verla Faye Landers of Parma.

Visitation will be after noon Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Orville Edmonds officiating. Burial will be in Parma Cemetery.
