EAST PRAIRIE -- Jackie Lee Adkisson, 66, of East Prairie, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, at his home.

He was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Mississippi County, son of Rudolph and Alice Tanner Adkisson.

Adkisson had lived in East Prairie all his life. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Kirby and Jackie McGee, both of East Prairie; five brothers, Paul and Harold Joe Adkisson and Kenny Keck, all of East Prairie; Ralph Adkisson of Charleston and Bill Adkisson of Iola, Texas; three sisters, Thelma Leibermann of Saugus, Calif., Sue Martin and Dean Yount, both of East Prairie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. tonight at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Bill Adkisson officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
