Jacqueline "Jackie" Carol Green, 71, of Scott City died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1945, in Bloomfield, Missouri, to Bernal Clayton and Beulah Irene Covington Murphy.
She and Barney R. Green were married Sept. 15, 1993, at Dexter, Missouri.
Jackie graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1962.
She was a member of Scott City First Family and Youth Worship Center.
Jackie's joy in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Survivors include her husband, Barney R. Green of Scott City; sons, Michael J. Huey, Charles C. Huey, Timothy W. Huey and Ray R. Green, all of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Betty J. Pender of Scott City and Mary C. Murphy of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Lon J. Murphy of Shreveport, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Rouse officiating.
Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family for funeral expenses.
