PUXICO, Mo. -- Jack D. Yokley, 86, of Puxico died Monday, April 2, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 9, 1915, at Vanduser, Mo., son of Charles and Ruby Smith Yokley. He and Alma Cantrell were married Sept. 25, 1988, at Puxico. She died Feb. 10, 2001.
Yokley was a 1933 graduate of Puxico High School. He was a retired chiropractor and owned Jack Yokley Chiropractic in California. He lived in California 40 years, returning to Puxico in 1987.
He was a member of VFW Post 1864 in Visalia, Calif., and member and past president of Puxico Lions Club.
Survivors include a sister, Naomi Hilpipre of Merced, Calif.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marshall Link officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
